Afon Gwyn Boutique B&B provides Award Winning accommodation in the Snowdonia National Park. Since opening in 2006, Afon Gwyn has been awarded Visit Wales’ highest accolade, 'the Gold Award' every year.
We are located on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed, in the Gwydir Forest. Betws-y-Coed is the principle tourist destination in the Snowdonia National Park, which covers 800 square miles of rocky mountains, stunning valleys, cascading rivers, still glacial lakes and green forests.
The house was renovated in 2006 and now provides boutique luxury guest accommodation with all areas individually designed to give guests a feeling of indulgence and comfort.
With just 5 sumptuous rooms the atmosphere is relaxed and the hospitality second to none.

Three luxurious rooms and two sumptuous suites, each with their own unique style, all equipped with everything you will need for a perfect stay... large en-suite bathrooms, digital TV, fabulous bed linen, handmade soft furnishings, complimentary tea tray with delicious homemade cookies, hairdryers, just pack your clothes and toothbrush!!
The White Room
With a truly fresh seaside feel this comfy double is decorated in a New England/Shaker style. A large en-suite, glass sink and modern shower adorned with coral and shells, makes this room perfect for a short break. Ground floor accommodation
The Robinson Room
Earthy tones give this room a truly relaxing feel. Either a vast superking size bed or a comfy twin the Robinson room has the lovely addition of a door to a private patio garden area at the back of the house, for those who like to sit outside in the morning with a cup of tea. The Rupert Room
Browns, beige and cream tones complement the high ceilings giving this room a luxurious feel. With wonderful views over the front gardens this kingsize bedded room is the perfect resting place after an energetic day in the mountains.
Sit on the seat in the large travertine tiled walk in shower and feel yourself relax. The ensuite bathroom really is stunning you will feel totally pampered. First floor
The Sorrel Suite
A galleried beamed ceiling gives this suite a grand aire. With handmade soft furnishings in sumptuous fabrics the sofa is a lovely place to relax before retiring to a comfy kingsize bed.
The ensuite is a glamorous take on French chic with the oval sink sitting on a Rococo style black and silver lacquered table and the spacious walk in shower giving you plenty of room to splash around! First floor accommodation
The Alice Suite
The largest of all the rooms the Alice Suite is vast. With a Super king size bed, table and chairs, large comfy sofa and easy chair, plus a 42in TV what more could you wish for. With great views over the river, trees and hills you will feel truly spoiled spending time in this room.
The bathroom has a large shower enclosure his and hers sinks and a separate bath to soak in! First floor accommodaion

- Single nights stays are charged at the Fri, Sat & Bank Holiday rates.
- Children must be over 10 years old and will be charged at £20 each per night if sharing a room with 2 adults.
- Bank holidays is a minimum of a 3 night stay (minimum 2 nights over Easter 2011).
- Single occupancy discounts may be given dependant on availability.
- Free Wi-Fi is available.
- A non-refundable deposit equivalent to one nights stay per room is required to confirm all bookings.
- Check-in from 3:30pm to 9:00pm
