Boutique cottage accommodation in the centre of the magical seaside resort of Whitstable.

Whitstable is the best kept secret on the North Kent coast. Just one and a half hours from the centre of London by road or rail, easy access is available to a world of superb restaurants, chic shops and boutiques all based in a uniquely preserved seaside conservation area.

To take advantage of a truly magical experience we offer four-star comfort in a superbly-located townhouse close to all the facilities the town has to offer and just a few metres from the sea.

The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a lounge, dining area, and a fully-fitted kitchen and bathroom/toilet.

The property has been furnished to an extremely high standard with assistance from Chelsea Harbour interior designers Paulinteriors, around a seaside theme.

This property is one of the very few in the area rated by the English Tourist Board as 4* self-catering accommodation. We aim to keep the highest standards for comfort and enjoyment.

The Master Bedroom features a king-size bed together with a flat-screen TV with built-in DVD and Freeview player as well as a Radio/Alarm Clock and hair dryer. There is ample space for clothes in one hanging wardrobe and a substantial chest of drawers.

There are also convenient bedside tables, a full-length mirror and an electric fan is available. Bath and hand-towels are provided as well as cotton bed-linen.
The second bedroom has a divan bed which can either be used as a single bed or the second bed pulled out to provide a twin-bedded room. A chest of drawers provides storage space. Hanging space is available.

Both bedrooms feature wooden venetian blinds and wooden flooring.

The modern, fully-fitted kitchen features a gas hob and oven, dishwasher, waste disposal, microwave, Bosch washer/dryer, and fridge/freezer. Plates, glasses and cutlery are included as well as cooking utensils and the all-important corkscrew! There is also an iron and ironing board.

The bathroom comes complete with insulated bath, new shower and towel radiator. The property has the benefit of beech flooring throughout as well as double glazing and is centrally-heated. There is no garden.

Sitting room
The lounge features a CD/Radio/Casette player as well as a flat-screen TV with a built-in DVD player plus Freeview.

Main bedroom
The Master Bedroom has a Radio/Alarm Clock as well as a flat-screen TV with built-in Freeview and DVD.

The property is situated just off Harbour Street, in the middle of the main shopping and dining area. The Horsebridge Arts Centre complex and the Pure Indulgence Health and Beauty Spa can be found within a mere 50 metres.

Many restaurants, several featuring local fish dishes, are within a very short walking distance. The splendid sea-shore, with its magnificent vistas and sunsets, is just a pebble’s-throw away.
Bus stops for fast and frequent transport into nearby Canterbury and Herne Bay are literally just round the corner.
Dover and the Channel Tunnel are about 30 miles away - ideal for a day-trip to France.
High speed rail access to London.

Bank holidays are excluded - where available, special rates apply. All weekends are shown as two-night weekends. Longer weekends are also possible subject to availability - extra days charged pro rata. During July & August priority is given to weekly bookings.

All gas, electricity, cotton bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost.

Deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking. The remainder is due 2 weeks before your arrival. If you have to cancel for any reason, we will try to re-let your booking. However, you will be responsible for any costs incurred by ourselves to a minimum of your deposit.

Only the number of guests booked can be accommodated, and they must use it only as a private holiday occupation and not for general residential purposes.

Any damages and breakages must be replaced by the occupier.

If for any unexpected circumstance beyond our control (e.g. fire or flood) we are unable to provide the property, we will endeavour to find you a suitable alternative. However, if this is not acceptable to you, all deposit or money paid will be returned to you. However, you will have no additional claim against ourselves.

Arrivals after 2.00pm and departures before 10.00am.

3 Harbour Mews is a cottage style property. The front door opens from the street to a small lobby and the staircase as well as the door to the lounge.
The lounge/dining/kitchen area is one open plan space on the ground floor.
The 13 steps to the upper floor are fairly steep. Although there is a handrail it is not likely to be suitable for those with mobility problems. The upper floor consists of two bedrooms plus a bathroom with WC.
