A welcoming Victorian B&B directly accessing a Nature Reserve and ideally located as a base for exploring Wareham, one of Dorset's finest Saxon market towns, the Isle of Purbeck & Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and the greater Dorset area.
Our aim is to maintain a high standard of hospitality & service and to ensure your stay at our Bed & Breakfast in this beautiful part of Dorset is the most wonderful of experiences.
Our B&B accommodation near Wareham in the beautiful Purbeck district stands in a lovely garden with its own small woodland, itself a Site of Special Scientific Interest, giving direct access onto Sandford Heath a hidden Purbeck gem and a National Nature Reserve. Nature Lovers and Bird Watchers appreciate the wonderful variety of wildlife on our doorstep, including the Nightjar, Dartford Warbler, Great, Blue & Coal Tits and Sika Deer. Accommodation
Our three comfortable bedrooms all have private en-suites, free WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities, flat screen TV with DVD/CD/USB, radio alarm clock and a hairdryer. Your room also has a folder full of local information to help you discover this wonderful area and get the most out of your stay. A full Breakfast Menu is served using local farm produce and Fairtrade ingredients where possible (please do let us know of any special dietry requirements which we will try to accommodate where possible).
We love guests to make full use of the outside space including our garden and wooded area leading directly onto Sandford Heath Nature Reserve.
We are conveniently situated on the A351 between the Bakers Arms roundabout and Wareham with ample private off-road parking, whatever your mode of transport you will be well positioned to explore the beautiful Dorset countryside and its many wonderful attractions. 'Home Farm' bus stop conveniently brings you to our door and there are mainline rail links close by. Pub, restaurants and convenience shop are all within walking distance.
There really is something for everyone - over and above some of the best that Mother Nature has to offer there are a host of areas to visit and attractions to enjoy such as Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Swanage & Steam Railway, Farmer Palmer's, Studland, Arne RSPB Nature Reserve, Corfe Castle, Poole Harbour & Sandbanks, Lulworth Castle & Cove, and Durdle Door to name just a few.
