Woodpecker is a semi detached, ground floor cottage in the grounds of High Head Sculpture Valley, on the owner's dairy farm in the Ive Valley, just 13 miles from Penrith. The cottage sleeps four people and has a double and a twin en-suite bedrooms and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is plenty of off road parking and a small garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. With its neighbouring cottage, Woodpecker can sleep a total of six people and makes a superb base for exploring this glorious part of the country.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,Standard of accommodation very high and very friendly welcome. Very peaceful, very good coffee shop and helpful staff. Small but adequate garden with table, chairs and secure fence for safety of our dog (would also apply to small children).

,Lovely cottage with wonderful views. Extremely safe for my 96 year old mother. Welcoming touches of flowers, milk, wine, fruit and bathrobes much appreciated. Tea room next door was also enjoyed. Penrith, Carlisle and the various lakes easy to reach. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return to.

,Lots of art and creative events/places to visit in the Eden Valley. Lovely to have fresh fruit and flowers, milk, tea/coffee, wine in the fridge, ice cubes in the freezer and dressing gowns. Generally very well stocked kitchen.
