The yearly dressing of the Well in the village is well worth viewing and the gardens are a delight with their little bridges and running streams that cascade through the gardens. The Wishing Well restaurant offers excellent home cooked meals and cakes that melt in the mouth and not forgetting the home made scones with Dorset cream.
 
The surrounding area with its rolling hills and green valleys invite you to discover some of Dorset's most splendid countryside with the choice of the coastline only a lazy drive away.
