Upper Court & Courtyard Cottages are located near Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, ideal for self catering holidays, weddings, corporate events or group accommodation in the Cotswolds.
Upper Court is seven miles away from Cheltenham Racecourse, eight miles from Broadway, ten miles from Sudeley Castle, about 18 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold and Stratford-upon-Avon, and 22 miles from Warwick Castle. There are also many National Trust houses and gardens to visit locally, including Snowshill Manor and Kifsgate in Chipping Campden. We are close to the Rivers Avon and Severn, on which excellent coarse fishing and boating are available.
There are six luxury self catering Cotswold holiday cottages, set in 15 acres of magnificent grounds and gardens. Sleeping between two and eleven guests individually and greater numbers in combination, they offer superb self catering holiday accommodation for couples, families, extended families or large group wishing to stay in the Cotswolds. Passing through a coaching archway, visitors enter an impressive courtyard full of flowers and topiary. Here, they find three of the original coaching buildings, each converted into stunning holiday cottages.
The individual cottages:
The Coach House: Sleeps 10-11. Suitable for an extended family or group holiday in the Cotswolds.
Courtyard: Sleeps 6-8.
Stables: Sleeps 4-5.
The Coach House, Courtyard and Stables cottages can be combined to sleep up to 22 people.
Watermill: Sleeps 10. Suitable for an extended family or group holiday in the Cotswolds. (Currently unavailable due to long let)
Dovecote: Sleeps 2 + cot.
Garden Flat. Sleeps 2 + cot.
Special Offers and Last Minute Availability
Hen parties and House parties. Upper Court is the ideal venue for a Hen or House party in the Cotswolds. The Coach House, Courtyard and Stables cottages can be combined to sleep up to 24 people and the Gallery room in the Coach house has two long refectory tables seating up to 24 guests and plentiful comfy chairs providing an ideal space for socialising and dining.
Cotswolds Wedding Venue.
Weddings at Upper Court. Upper Court offers a stunning venue for a traditional English country house wedding. Our magnificient Georgian manor house forms a perfect background for a marquee reception overlooking a beautiful two acre lake and island brimming with a variety of wildfowl. Our 15 acres of grounds and gardens, a marriage of formal and wild planting, offer a stunning backdrop for wedding photography almost everywhere you look. Upper Court is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies in the manor house or, if you prefer, there are two churches in the village of Kemerton.
Corporate events, business meetings and other events at Upper Court.
The combination of the manor house, the gardens and grounds and our cottages make Upper Court an ideal choice for a wide range of corporate events, including seminars, strategy meetings and training days, as well as corporate entertaining. Bed and breakfast accommodation in the Cotswolds. There are two four-poster bedrooms with en-suites and one twin bedroom with en-suite at £130.00 per night per room including breakfast, or at £110.00 without breakfast.
In addition, we have three smaller rooms with a shared bathroom at £80.00 per night for two people sharing including breakfast, or at £60.00 without breakfast.
The minimum stay is for two nights at weekends. This is ideal for a small house party or for overflow from the holiday cottages.
