Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

Having been to the Old Bake House before we knew what to expect. The location was great for us, so near to Morecambe Bay and not a huge distance from Keswick etc. Ulverston is a friendly thriving market town, (with a brilliant little fish and chip shop). Been twice but still have a lot we want to see in the area, so will probably come back again.

,Location of property was good as was the general condition of the cottage. Plenty of local walks and places to explore. Nice variety of local shops and restaurants. On arrival the owner gave us a guided tour of the property.

,The location was excellent; convenient to shops and local pubs. Lovely little tearooms in particular 'Ship Wreck Cafe' for home made soup etc. Countryside beautiful with lovely walks for our dog who was made very welcome where ever we took him. Owners helpful. Ulverston itself very interesting town. Well done Sykes Cottages
