Situated in the peaceful hamlet of Ford in Buckinghamshire, close to Thame, Princes Risborough and Aylesbury, The Dinton Hermit offers superb en-suite accommodation, a stylish restaurant and a comfortable traditional bar.

The restaurant and bar menus have a range of a quality dishes available, with ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.  The bar has a good selection of beers, some locally brewed and there is a fabulous large pub garden.  Free WiFi and broadband internet access is available in all public areas. The Dinton Hermit is in the quiet hamlet of Ford, close to Aylesbury and Thame, in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, and is a lovely place to escape for a weekend break.

The Dinton Hermit Inn has 13 contemporary bedrooms including 6 newly refurbished Barn Rooms and 2 four-poster rooms. The new bedroom interiors have been designed by Elizabeth Warden and refurbished to a high standard in a classic contemporary scheme to complement the historic nature of The Dinton Hermit, whilst offering our guests the comfort and style they expect. The rooms all feature brand new modern bathroom suites and flat screen televisions.

There are 6 Barn Rooms which are newly refurbished double rooms in the Courtyard, 5 Regency Rooms which are superior double rooms in the main building and 2 superb King Charles Rooms which are the suites, also in the main building.

Our Head Chef at The Dinton Hermit, has created menus to complement the relaxing and comfortable surroundings of this traditional English pub and restaurant. Using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible we have created menus with many regular favourites, as well as specials available for some seasonal dishes.

Opening times: Monday to Saturday 10.00 to 23:00, Sunday 12:00 to 22:30.

Lunchtime food is served between 12 and 2 Monday to Friday and 12 to 2.30 Saturday and Sunday.

Dinner is served between 7 and 9 Monday to Saturday, Sunday evening on request.

Buckinghamshire is a popular place to visit for short breaks. As well as Aylesbury and Thame nearby, London is only 45 minutes away on the train from Haddenham and Thame Parkway station whilst Oxford and Milton Keynes are only a 30 minute drive away.
