Once an Elizabethan coaching inn, the Crown Inn is now a sumptious blend of ancient and chic modern comforts. The Crown Inn starred in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral in 1994 - the honeymoon venue for Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell.

The Crown Inn has excellent transport links being only an hour from central London, 30 minutes from Heathrow and 15 minutes from the M4. The surrounding Chiltern Hills offer many walking and cycling paths, and there are several top quality golf courses nearby. Legoland is a 30 minute drive away. Wifi is provided throughout.

At the Crown Inn, provides simple creature comforts: decent mattresses, pure cotton sheets, with extra Jakob’s wool blankets to make you feel at home. Room sizes range from bolthole to more spacious with clawfoot baths in the bedroom, in addition to the shower room. Eating and drinking
Eating and drinking is central to the Crown Inn. The kitchen is in the charge of the celebrated Rosie Sykes, providing locally sourced food, served simply. Using local suppliers from Stockings Farm in nearby Denham who breed rare Gloucester Old Spot, to Kingcup Farm who supply beautiful vegetables.

Open from breakfast until dinner, our 'back room', with inglenook fire, overlooking the cobbled courtyard, can accommodate up to 40 and be hired for gathering and feasting. In our front room we can seat 36 for food & drink throughout the day, and 32 in our bar with snug corners. Our menu changes daily and we bake our bread on site.

Meetings and Events
Our ‘back room’, with inglenook fire, overlooking the cobbled courtyard, can accommodate up to 40 seated, or 16 in the Baillie room. The Crown has snug corners and alternative rooms for break out options.

Weddings and Celebrations
The Crown is a wonderful setting for an English country wedding. St Marys Parish Church just a stone’s throw from the Crown, has parts dating back to the 13th century.
