The Barn is a delightful single story barn conversion on the outskirts of Shepton Mallet within the Mendip Hills in Somerset. The cottage has one double bedroom and one family room (with four beds) which with the addition of a family bathroom make it suitable for up to six people. There is a spacious fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for three cars and a small lawned area and separate patio area with outdoor furniture. Being only five minutes' walk from the town centre, The Barn is in a superb location whether you want to explore the surrounding countryside, or just want to put your feet up and relax.

All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Small lawned area and separate patio area with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub and shop 5-10 mins walk. Note: A supplement of £200 is applicable for the Glastonbury Festival.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,The cottage is well sited for exploring the surrounding Somerset countryside. Haynes Motor Museum, Cadbury Castle Hill Fort and Tyntesfield all in easy reach. Tea and cakes when we arrived were very welcome and shops nearby include a large Tesco. There was plenty of room and everything worked. One unique appliance was the fridge freezer that on occasions did impressions of a cow, chickens and a radio. I list that as a plus! The owners were very welcoming and really it was like being at home.

,It was probably the best cottage holiday we have had in terms of accommodation. The owners were ex
