Welcome to The Alford Arms at Frithsden. Set in the unruffled hamlet of Frithsden, surrounded by the National Trusts Ashridge Estate and Berkhamsted Common, The Alford Arms is a pretty Victorian pub, full of surprises. The flower filled garden overlooks the village green, which is a haven of tranquillity. Many tie in a walk with the dog, a stroll to admire the bluebells or even some wild mushroom foraging with a trip to the Alford Arms.
The understated style of both the dining room and bar is achieved with a mix of furniture and pictures, mostly found in the salerooms at nearby Tring.
Dining. Our seasonal menus and daily specials balance originality along with more traditional fare and we are firm believers in using fresh, local produce wherever possible.
