Today, however, this spacious holiday home simply offers very comfortable, welcoming accommodation, with a king-size double with additional child’s folding bed, a further double and a room with adult bunks. There is a sofabed in the large sitting room, a separate dining room and a compact but well-equipped kitchen. Explore the castle, check out the market stalls or head far into the hills and valleys of the Dales, all easily accessible from this superb cottage.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We found Richmond a super place and the cottage was very convenient and spacious. Good value for money accommodation. We enjoyed our stay and would go again.

,Being in the centre of Richmond and central to the Yorkshire Dales presented great opportunities. The town has some lovely walks and views and must be visited to be appreciated. The week was blessed with fine, dry weather.
The caretaker was most helpful and made a visit halfway through the week to check that everything was well, even though her contact number and address was recorded in the welcome file.
