Seaves Cottage is set in the stunning countryside of the Howardian Hills, with many walking, riding and leisure opportunities in the surrounding areas. It is a beautiful Grade II listed stone built cottage (formerly part of the owner's 15th century Grade II listed farmhouse). Situated on a working rare-breed cattle farm in the peaceful rural village of Brandsby between York and Helmsley, Seaves Cottage has been carefully restored and offers accommodation including a traditional sitting room with log burning stove, oak wood floors, and a luxury en-suite steam shower with foot massage and built in radio. Outside is a charming walled courtyard. The East coast resorts of Whitby and Scarborough, the North York Moors, the historic city of York, and many stately homes, castles and museums are all accessible from Seaves Cottage.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

The owners and family were very pleasant,available if you needed to ask a question but never intrusive when you consider they are running a working farm next door to the cottage.The cottage was excellent accommodation and restful. We like to wine and dine when on holiday and we were spoiled for choice in this area of Yorkshire, so many excellent pubs and restaurants, in fact we did not find a bad one all the time we were there. The other thing that I truly enjoyed were the virtually deserted rural roads in the area, a real pleasure to drive on.
