Description of property

Rowan House is a stone built house in an elevated hillside position about one mile from the village of Giggleswick close to Settle, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With one double room, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep six people. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a fireplace and a stove. Outside the cottage are a shared garden and a private sitting area with outdoor furniture, as well as plenty of off road parking. With two other cottages on site, Rowan House can sleep sixteen people making it suitable for large family groups who want to explore this beautiful part of the country.

Large garden (shared with property refs 652 & 993) and private sitting area with garden furniture. Ample off road parking. Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,The cottage itself was in a lovely location and made a good base for exploring the surrounding area. There are some great walks from the doorstep and we had a lovely time. The log stove in the living room was great in the evenings when it got a little chilly and the cottage has a very homely feel.
