Rock Cottage is a detached sandstone cottage in the hamlet of Cliburn just five miles from Penrith on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The cottage has three bedrooms (two doubles and one family room) which with the addition of a sofa bed in the lounge make it suitable for up to eight people. The rest of the accommodation includes two family bathrooms, a fitted kitchen, a sitting room with a dining area, a gas stove and the sofa bed, as well as a snug with an open fire. Outside the cottage is a large garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, off road parking for four cars and secure bike storage. Set between the Lake District and the North Pennines, Rock Cottage is sure to appeal all year round.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

The cottage was the best one we have ever stayed in. The whole family loved it. Comfy, well equipped and well furnished. The village location was perfect for visiting the Lakes and further north, but also great for a lazy day in the sunshine.
