The Loch Shin Holiday Homes comprise of 2 cottages that are situated just 4 miles away from the village of Lairg. They are set on the edge of Sutherland’s largest and finest Loch: Loch Shin. The Oak has 3 bedrooms and the property offers enough space to accommodate up to 5 people; all the accommodation is spread across one level. There is plenty of off-road parking, allowing you to use your car to explore the immediate area and the many attractions that lie beyond.

Oil fired central heating throughout. Electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD player, stereo/CD player etc. Washer/dryer in separate utility room. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Shared use of large garden with garden furniture. Ample off road parking. Pets welcome. Shop and pub 4 miles.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The property was excellent in every way, from the setting looking across the loch to the overall decor and cleanliness, the best cottage I have ever been too. Would not change anything about it.

,This was the second time at the cottage this year for my wife's birthday. Like the first time it was magic, you just can't fault the place or surroundings. We found a place selling game/shellfish just along the road and had wild boar sausages, venison and smoked salmon. It's a 'home from home'.

,The setting of the cottage was 'picture post card' with a beautiful view across Loch Shin to greet you in the morning; it was magic regardless of the weather. I could have lived here for ever.
