This stone built, semi detached cottage is situated next to the owner's home on the edge of Appleby-in-Westmorland. This property offers warm and cosy accommodation with an 'upside down' layout. The ground floor provides a spacious double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, whilst the first floor boasts an open-plan living area with open fire, beams, a dining table and a well-equipped fitted kitchen. The spacious, mature garden provides shade beneath a number of apple trees, which makes it an ideal area for dining alfresco. The town centre is just a few minutes walk away and offers a vast range of amenities and activities to suit all tastes and budgets.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Great location for both Lakes and Dales, cottage exceeded our expectations, although only 1 bed roomed, very well designed. Very clean, lovely garden, good value for money compared to Lake District properties. Welcome pack of tea, coffee and cake very welcome! Would definitely go back.

,Arriving after a long journey to a clean well maintained cottage with tea,coffee tray complete with milk and cake laid out. Everything we needed was provided in the cottage. Appleby was an excellent location with friendly people ready to have a chat. Excellent butchers shop really 'old fashioned' and enjoyed meals at the Royal Oak. The weather was kind so all in all one of our best holidays. Cottage could easily be upgraded to 4 star.
