,It was central for all the places we wanted to visit, the gorgeous views around us. The people who worked in the 'Boatman Inn' were very friendly.

,Really enjoyed this cottage - very comfortable with ample parking space and of course very handy for the nearby Boat Inn pub. The cottage is very handy for some very nice walks and even within walking distance to Hexham with all its shops, facilities, parks and items of historical interest. We even laughed at the proximity of the railway line to the cottage and the master bedroom - can't even put that down as a dislike. Overall, we had an excellent week in this cottage.
