Steeped in history, this property even includes the remains of a 13th Century Motte and Bailey castle within the grounds and has been sympathetically renovated to offer accommodation full of character and charm. There are a total of six bedrooms – some with en-suite bathrooms - a spacious sitting room with wood-burning stove as well as two further reception rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, lovely mature gardens and an orchard. With a beach within 100 yards, the property also boasts breathtaking views of the sea and the Furness peninsula. This is a truly unique property, perfect for an equally special holiday.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,So many things: the amount of space in the house; the level of equipment in the kitchen; the size of the kitchen; the size of the bedrooms; the ease of access to the beach; and the proximity of the house to places of interest. In 25 years of family holidays at Easter we have found the ideal location. Everyone from the youngest at 1 to the oldest at 90 thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
