This attractive whitewashed semi-detached cottage sits in a rural location close to the tiny country hamlet of Dottery, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. An ideal country retreat, the cottage has a woodburning stove for those chillier evenings and a decked patio with rural views for sunny summer dining. Well-equipped, and renovated to a good standard, the cottage can sleep up to four people and is within walking distance of the market town of Bridport, often featured in TVs River Cottage series. The coast is easily accessible, and there are lovely country walking routes to enjoy.

Full oil central heating with additional heating from woodburner in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD player, CD/radio, library of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with raised decked area. Use of the owners' tennis court by prior arrangement. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: Babysitting service available by arrangement with the owner.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,The cottage was of a very high standard and very clean and comfortable, in a peaceful location. The owner was very friendly, as was the housekeeper, who lived next door, who made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lynch Cottage and would certainly use Sykes Cottages again.
