Three miles from the Dales town of Bentham, in a wonderful secluded location, is this stunning farmhouse – a traditional, stone-built detached dwelling. With panoramic countryside views, this lovely cottage is full of character and boasts old beams, a fabulous stone floor and staircase and a lovely wood-burning stove in a magnificent feature fireplace. Outdoors is a picturesque patio area which overlooks a charming wooded dale and babbling brook. The local countryside provides wonderful walking routes across the moors, whilst village amenities in nearby Bentham offer everything a holidaymaker could need. This is an excellent base for families, couples or friends looking to explore Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Note: Property accessed via 1 mile, private unmetalled road, shared with farm.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

The peace and quiet. The area being borderline of 3 counties. The property was the best equipped we have ever stayed in. The thoughtfulness of the owner/caretaker in small things that mean a lot after travelling a long way to see that tea, coffee, milk and biscuits to name a few, await you on arrival.
