The cottage has been lovingly renovated and furnished to a very high standard. Boasting an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, open fire and a cosy seating section this quaint little cottage also comes with a pretty garden – great for al fresco dining. The property is well served by local amenities such as the village shops, the post office and a welcoming pub.

All bookings are subject to an additional £35.00 booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

Lonsdale Cottage was perfect for us and our dog, and we found the local people to be very friendly and helpful. The location is superb and has easy access to places for both walking to and from - or for travel by car - for visiting and exploring countryside and coast. We had a wonderful relaxing break - thank you .

,After a very long drive, due to bad weather, we arrived at the cottage to find tea bags, milk and some biscuits - a very nice gesture. The cottage is situated in a lovely village, near a well stocked shop, which bakes fresh bread. Also a short walk to the local pub. Lovely walks by the river which our dog enjoyed!
