Description of property

Situated on a high ridge in the South Lakeland Leisure Village, this Scandinavian style cabin is a superb, detached property offering fabulous views across the lake. There is also a modern fitted kitchen, a lovely sitting room with dining area and a fabulous balcony, well positioned so that you can enjoy the scenic countryside. At the old farmhouse, which serves as the home for the site’s leisure facilities, visitors can enjoy an indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym, or perhaps an excellent meal from the Tapas bar or Italian restaurant. The property is also well placed for exploring Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal and the Lake District National Park - all of which are just a short drive away.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,At South Lakeland Leisure Village, the welcome was really friendly and the information pack useful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the decor was clean and fresh. When we went in it was warm and cosy. The lodge was spacious with plenty of storage. This lodge was comfortable enough for our needs. The local attractions were perfect for our toddler. The lodge itself had lovely views over the lake which had a fountain. We had a really peaceful relaxing time. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and polite.
