The Kersbrook Guest House is only a few minutes walk from the town centre, beaches and the ancient Cobb Harbour (Lyme Regis has historical links with the Duke of Monmouth and of course, John Fowles' 'French Lieutenant's Woman.')

Set in its own picturesque mature gardens with views across Lyme Regis, Lyme Bay, the sea and the heritage coast line this house was originally built as a holiday retreat by one of Lyme's most notable citizens, Samuel Coade and has to this day remained that - a holiday retreat of peace and tranquillity.

This Guest House offers traditional hospitality combined with modern comforts and a personal touch from the Davies family in our own home.

Bedrooms

We have 12 individually furnished and traditionally decorated guest bedrooms all offering guests a high level of convenience and home-comfort, whilst retaining many of the period features one might expect in an C18th Grade 2 listed building. All rooms are ensuite and equipped with new flat screen digital TV, radio alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and have wireless internet connection. Some have sea views or look out on our pretty garden. An iron and ironing board are available on request.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the sunny breakfast room on the ground floor. Your breakfast is freshly cooked to order using the finest locally sourced ingredients and served by our friendly waiting staff between 8.30 and 10am. If you would like to have an earlier breakfast please speak to reception the evening before. 

The breakfast buffet table includes:

Freshly squeezed pure Orange juice, Apple or Tomato juice
Grapefruit and prunes
Fresh fruit
Yoghurts
Various cheeses
Cereals.

The Full English cooked and served to order    

Grilled bacon 
Local butchers sausages
Eggs (scrambled, fried or poached)
Grilled tomatoes
Mushrooms

Fish

Smoked Haddock and poached eggs
Kipper fillets
Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs.

A range of fine teas, ground coffee, drinking chocolate, white or granary/ wholemeal toast is served to order. Packed lunches are available on request.

Licensed Bar Lounge

At the Kersbrook we have a fully licensed bar for you to enjoy a refreshing drink. Drinks can also be served in the garden (weather permiting). There is also a guest's reading lounge equipped with local information, daily papers and children's board games. 

Grounds 

The Kersbrook is situated just a short walk from the town centre, it is set in picturesque private mature gardens with landscaped and patio areas with garden seating offer a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a drink from our licensed bar. Just beyond our walled garden yet within the confines of the property is our private car park which has ample space to keep your car secure.

Tariff

Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a Double or Twin ensuite room;

Low Season -£42.50 - £45.00  per person per night.

High Season - £45.00 - £47.50 per person per night. 

Studio ensuite room - £50.00- £52.50 per person per night B+B, minimum 2 nights stay.

Single rooms from £47.50 per night B+B.

Family ensuite room, 2 adults and 2 children from £115 - £125 per night B+B.

Extra bed in some large doubles or twin rooms  - £20 per night.

On short breaks and stays of 4 or more nights we offer a 10% discount on all the above prices.
