Henley Royal Regatta

Introduction

Henley Royal Regatta - one of the greatest sporting and social events of the English summer. Wednesday the 27th June - Sunday the 1st July 2012 .

Henley Regatta was first held in 1839 and has been held annually ever since, except during the two World Wars.

In 1851 H.R.H. Prince Albert became the Regatta's first Royal Patron. Since the death of The Prince Consort, the reigning Monarch has always consented to become Patron. This patronage means the Regatta can be called The Henley 'Royal' Regatta.

Henley Royal Regatta
2012 is being held from Wednesday 27th June to Sunday 1st July 2012.

Whether your interest lies in the International standard rowing, the sights on the river, the socialising or the food and drink, a day on the Thames at Henley during Regatta week provides something for everyone.
