Greenock House is brick built detached cottage in the small Scottish village of Paxton just five miles from the border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. With one twin bedroom and two doubles (one with ensuite facilities) and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to six people. The cottage also contains a small fitted kitchen, a dining room with a woodburning stove and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside the cottage is a garage for bike storage and an enclosed garden approx 20 yards from the property with a lawned area, garden furniture, a BBQ and access to a summer house. With the whole of the Borders region to discover as well as the stunning Northumbrian coastline, Greenock House is a fabulous cottage for any family holiday.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
Property feedback
A friendly and prompt welcome with nice touch a welcome pack of biscuits and chocolate bars which was very kind. High standard of cleanliness, combined with a practical layout of the property and a lovely quiet location. Lots of suggestions on what to do from owner as well as leaflets and OS maps on hand too. Still so much to see in the area that we would like to go back sometime and wouldn't hesitate to book the same accommodation.
