Goosenest House is an ideal Cotswolds holiday rental property for groups of friends (but no stag or hen parties please) and families. It has  wall to wall glass sliding doors with breathtaking views across Somerford Lagoon, part of a 450 acre private nature reserve . In the summer, you can sit on the balcony enjoying the sunshine. In the winter, the log burning stove will keep you cosy and warm. Free Wi-fi broaband access is available.

As guests of Goose Nest House, you will have full use of the Lower Mill Estate facilities including   which free access to the on-site spa, sauna, steam room and gym  and the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including the unique eco-pool.

Accommodation: There are five bedrooms, sleeping 10, (Max 8 adults, 2 children)  all furnished with solid maple wood beds, luxury mattresses and high grade Egyptian cotton linen.

Two of the bedrooms are ensuite and all have plenty of storage space for your belongings. All rooms have DAB digital radios and both master bedrooms have flat-screen colour TVs with freeview.

The Estate Shop is open each morning (although opening hours are limited out of season) where you can buy freshly baked croissants and pick up your paper (both of which can be pre-ordered) as well as all the essentials and a small range of local produce. 

For families, there is a tennis court, children's playground, trampoline and football pitch, and children are welcome in the indoor and outdoor heated pools at the Spa. In season you will also have access to fishing and boating. As part of a special fishing package, an accompanied day's fishing or a day and night fishing excursion with the Fisheries Manager can be arranged - please contact the owners direct.

  During school holidays, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year, the Lower Mill Estate run a number of events aimed at families such as the famous annual duck race.
