Elder Bank is a stone-built, end terrace cottage situated in the village of Bradwell, just eleven miles from Buxton in the Peak District National Park. With one double bedroom and a bathroom, the cottage is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic holiday. The accommodation also contains a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining table, oak beams and an open fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for one car, storage for bikes and walking equipment and a lawned garden to the front of the property with a patio area, garden furniture and a BBQ. With the local amenities just a couple of minutes walk away, Elder Bank is a fabulous cottage for a couple looking to get away from it all.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

My husband and I have been to Elder Bank before. The owners are lovely hosts and always leave a welcome tray. We love the fact that we can walk out from the cottage without having to use the car. We also find the people of Bradwell friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to visit close by if you are not walkers. The opening of the railway tunnels has made the area around Monsal Dale and the surrounding areas very popular.
