Description of property

Dale House is a terraced cottage in the centre of the market town of Alston in the North Pennines which is renowned for being the highest market town in England. The cottage is laid out over three floors and has a king size double and a twin bedroom which with the addition of a family bathroom makes it suitable for four people. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen which leads into a snug which has a dining area and a multi fuel stove, whilst on the first floor there is a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside the cottage you will find a terraced garden with outdoor furniture and a BBQ as well as off road parking for one car. With views of the Cumbrian Fells and being close to the Pennine Way footpath, Dale House is a wonderful cottage for an 'away from it all' holiday.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

The conservatory was definitely a bonus as it seemed to get the sun at all times. The dining room with the wood burning fire was lovely too. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of storage.
