Description of property

Cranford is a first floor flat built in traditional Lakeland slate situated in the village of Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Boasting two double bedrooms and one twin with a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep six people. Also within the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a gas fire, whilst outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars. Wonderfully situated in one of the most popular Lakeland villages, Cranford offers fantastic accommodation for a family holiday.

Heating from gas fire and supplementary electric heaters. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, colour TV, DVD player etc. Gas and electricity charged at cost from meter reading. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot and high chair available on request. Private off-road parking for two cars (for residents only). Sorry, no pets. Shop and pub 2 mins walk.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Perfect central location. Friendly owner. Wonderful walks and scenery all around. Also shops, banks, pub and cinema. No need to use the car for the entire two weeks.

,Ambleside was perfect and Cranford was perfect for all the main attractions of Ambleside. Everything was within walking distance, two great parks and Windermere. The flat had everything you needed so no complaints there. The price of the flat was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We will be returning. Great for families.
