Part of a conversion of a former coach house, this semi detached single storey cottage is in a quiet location near the centre of Barnard Castle. The accommodation here is superb, with the cottage having been finished to a very high standard and retaining original charm. There is a king-size double bedroom and also a twin room, a modern shower room and an open plan living area which is stylish and well-equipped and yet still supremely comfortable. The shared garden is a delight, and the shops, restaurants and market of the town are just a moment's stroll.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The cottage was cosy and clean. The hosts were so welcoming. I stay in many holiday rental homes across Europe and the U.K, and this is one of the nicest that I have been in.

,We received a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival who gave us lots of information about where to eat, places to visit etc. The cottage was absolutely spotless, wonderfully decorated and comfortably furnished. It was also ideally located for walking into town where the locals were really friendly. We would definitely recommend and return to this cottage.
