No 5, Carr Terrace is a beautifully restored 150 year old carr stone cottage. A Home from Home that has been tastefully and carefully refurbished to a high standard throughout.
The cottage is 4 miles from Brancaster and 5 miles from Burnham Market. There are two off-road parking spaces available. This is a no smoking cottage. Dogs are welcome. Towels and linen are provided.Welcome pack on arrival including Norfolk produce. The cottage is electrically centrally heated throughout.
DOWNSTAIRS:
KITCHEN
Hand-made fitted kitchen with Belfast sink, oak worktops, centre butcher’s block and travatine marble floor. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with separate freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. A Flask, picnic basket and cool box are also provided.
LIVING ROOM
The lounge is carpeted and has 2 comfy sofas and armchair, decorated with throws and cushions. Two side tables with lamps. There is a Flat screen TV with built-in Freeview and DVD player. Books, DVDs and magazines can be found on the shelves.
DINING ROOM
Has a travertine tiled floor and has original beams and an open fireplace. There is a dining table with 6 chairs. Two sideboards, a CD player and a collection of CDs and games can be found here. The walls are decorated with local Norfolk limited edition prints.
UPSTAIRS:
BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1 has a double bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding, side tables, lamps, a fitted wardrobe and a flat screen TV with integrated DVD player. Bath robes can be found hanging on hooks on the back of the door.Hairdryer also provided.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, feather quilts, luxurious Eqyptian cotton bedding, side tables, lamps, flat screen TV with integrated DVD player, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bath robes can be found hanging on hooks on the back of the door.
Bedroom 3 Trundle room , has a trundle bed ideal for children, a chest of drawers, lamp and hanging space.
BATHROOM
Fully tiled with newly fitted roll top bath, WC, wash basin, towel rail and Molton Brown products.
SHOWER ROOM
Fully tiled with corner shower, WC, towel rail, wash bowl on stand and Molton Brown products.
OUTSIDE
Small terrace to front that is fully enclosed with table and 4 chairs. There is a bench, boot rack, washing line and BBQ in summer months.

Docking is a small village with a lot of character. A short walk away from the cottage is the local fish & chip shop that serves the best fish and chips in the area. Nearby you can find the local shop stocking everyday essentials, a local pub serving food, a beautiful church ,church times found in the newsletter in the kitchen a fishing lake and you are surrounded by lovely walks.
