Carn Cottage, situated in the lovely village of Long Preston is an 18th century built semi detached cottage that offers 'upside down' accommodation. Beautifully restored, with many original features, the cottage provides a cosy living area, which contains a small fitted kitchen, breakfast bar, sitting area with open fire and a first floor shower room. There is also a ground floor double bedroom which is accessed from the 1st floor living room via an open staircase. Outside there is off road parking for one car and a garden with furniture. Carn Cottage is ideally placed for walkers and cyclists and the towns of Settle and Skipton are close by.

Books etc. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for one car next to the cottage, additional off road parking available. Garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and village green 3 mins walk. Note: This property is accessed by external stone steps to the garden and then by door into the first floor living room. Note: Cottage is approx 40m from A65, some road noise may be heard when in the garden.

Pricing information

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The friendly welcome from the owner.The home from home cleanliness and comfort of the cottage. The proximity of the village - we could walk to the local pubs, which also served excellent food, and where again, we always received a warm, friendly welcome.

The cottage is in a beautiful location and there are so many places to visit nearby. We even travelled to Lake Windermere which was only an hours drive away. This cottage is perfect for exploring the Dales of Yorkshire.
