This mid-terraced Lake District cottage in the centre of the tiny village of Bardsea is a traditional structure set just two miles from the market town of Ulverston. Carefully renovated in order to retain many of its original features, this charming property boasts a cosy sitting room with a wonderful feature fireplace and wood burning stove, a small friendly kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms with fantastic sea views. Visitors can enjoy a brief stroll which takes you to the local pub, whilst the various walking routes throughout the region are also within easy reach.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
Property feedback
The location of the cottage was excellent for walking from the front door. Good cottage for having dogs, as tiled floor in the kitchen and wooden in the lounge area. Good location for visiting the Southern Lakes.

,Good location for all areas as well as the shore. The 11 mile Ulverston circular walk can start and end at the cottage. Very good walk encompassing sea, canal, field, town and the Hoad monument. Saw deer next to the cottage in the fields. Quiet and secluded.
