Blackbird cottage offers comfortable accommodation for 4 people in the picture postcard village of Waddington on the edge of the Forest of Bowland and just 2 miles from the market town of Clitheroe.

This lovely terraced cottage, decorated with original landscape paintings by local artists, sleeps 4 in two bedrooms (1 double, 1 with bunk beds). Family bathroom/WC.
Living room with colour TV and gas fire.  
Fully equipped kitchen with dining table seating 4, washing machine, microwave and electric oven.

Outside to the rear is a small courtyard. Outhouse with tumble drier and freezer.
On road parking to the front of the cottage.

All linen and towels included.
Sorry no pets.
No smoking inside the cottage.

 October-March     £290 per week

Waddington is renowned as one of the most beautiful villages in the Ribble Valley and has frequently earned the title of 'Best Kept Village in Lancashire'.
Blackbird Cottage is situated opposite the lovely Coronation Gardens with its babbling brook and within walking distance of three pubs serving food, a cafe and village shop/post office.

The nearby market town of Clitheroe offers specialist independent shops as well as supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. The sky line is dominated by the recently renovated Clitheroe Castle, well worth a visit.

Waddington lies on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which offers walking, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, bird watching and shooting or simply relaxing in the spectacular countryside.

The area is easily accessed by the motorway network, making the cottage an ideal location for visiting the Lake District, Brontë Country, Harrogate, Blackpool and Lancashire Coast.
Trains run from Clitheroe to Manchester, connecting with the main line services.
