Black Barn is a stone built detached cottage in a rural location just five minutes walk from the village of Boldron, two miles from Barnard Castle on the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales. With one double bedroom and one twin as well as a wet room, this cottage can sleep four people in luxury. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a seperate study. Outside the cottage are spacious gardens with a patio area and garden furniture as well as off road parking for two cars. Beautifully decorated and with stunning views, Black Barn is a fabulous holiday cottage in a beautiful location.

Oil fired underfloor heating, additional heating from woodburning stove in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, CD/radio, books/DVDs. Fuel, power and initial supply for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars - must be parked in the compound area and the gate kept closed at all times due to farm animals in adjoining fields. Spacious gardens and patio area with furniture. Two well behaved pets welcome (kept downstairs) by prior arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 5 mins walk over fields. Shops 2 miles.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

This was a really well equipped and well laid out property, on a large plot and a great position. Views and working farm outlook are fantastic. Everything we needed in the cottage. Not bothered by anyone - completely private.
