This detached cottage in the town of Ayton, three miles from Eyemouth close to the English/Scottish border, is set within its own grounds opposite the magnificent Ayton Castle, within walking distance of a shop and pub yet in a peaceful rural setting. There is a king-size double bedroom, a twin room which can be made up as a double if required, and a sofabed in the cosy study, offering a real flexibility of accommodation. There are numerous walks from the doorstep, plus castles and country houses within easy reach. Less than an hours travelling takes you to Edinburgh to the north or Newcastle-upon-Tyne to the south, ensuring there is no shortage of things to entertain and enjoy from this lovely property.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

Ayton Mill Cottgae was was within easy reach of the coast. Eyemouth is a lovely seaside village, there is lot's to see and do. We went to Edinburgh on the train and it only takes 49 minutes. We had a great holiday !
