Summary: In a tranquil setting between the villages of Cropton and Wrelton this recent renovation of former farm buildings has created luxury holiday accommodation for up to 6 people in two cottages (there is also room for a cot in either cottage).

Situated in an elevated position on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with stunning views out over the vale of Pickering, Loand House Court is the perfect base for exploring the National Park, visiting the historic city of York, the coastal resorts of Scarborough and Whitby or the nearby market towns of Pickering, Kirkbymoorside and Malton.

Archways Cottage: A luxury one level 2 bedroomed cottage each with an ensuite bathroom. Archways has been converted from an old milking parlour and retains its magnificent stone arches and impressive A frame beams.

The cottage comprises a large open plan living area with wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The bedrooms, a twin and double each have an ensuite bathroom with under floor heating and heated towel radiators.

Cruck Cottage: A luxury one bedroomed cottage with the living space upstairs to take advantage of beautiful views over the Vale of Pickering. The cottage has an oak floored open living area and kitchen with exposed original oak beams and double bedroom with ensuite bathroom downstairs. The bathroom has under floor heating and heated towel radiator.

Both cottages are centrally heated, have fully equipped kitchens with full size hobs and oven. There is access to washing and drying facilities should they be required.

Local Area: Cropton is an easy walk and has a pub/restaurant incorporating a brewery. There are often 3-4 of their own beers on tap as well as guest ales and ciders Wrelton is ½ a mile to the south and joins the A170 Thirsk/Scarborough road where there is a regular bus service. 3 miles to the east is Pickering with a weekly market (Monday) and local shops and small supermarket. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway will whisk you up into the national park for sightseeing, walking or just a great day out. Beck Isle Museum offers an insight into the rural life of Ryedale. The trout farm allows you to buy or even catch your own supper should you wish. There is also a well preserved motte-and-bailey castle to explore and Pickering also has a swimming pool/leisure centre.
