Set on a high hillside above the pretty village of Greenodd is this charming semi detached cottage. Providing warm and welcoming accommodation, the property boasts a cosy sitting room with quaint wood-burning stove, a fabulous kitchen with dining table and a lovely first floor bedroom with views over the stunning countryside. The accommodation in this charming home from home is first class. Guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the well-maintained established garden or take a stroll to the pretty estuary or nearby Ship Inn. With so much to see and do within easy reach, visitors will be spoiled for choice.

One small well behaved dog welcome at £20 (please bring own dog bedding). Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs & fish & chip shop 5 mins walk. Note: Approx 15 steps to main door of property (alternatively a small flight of approx 4 descending steps & a slope to back entrance) & the internal stairs are steep. As such, property may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

The owners of the cottage were very welcoming, the fresh flowers and provisions for tea and a cake when we arrived were a lovely touch, meaning a relaxed start to our stay. The cottage is located in a lovely village with a good butcher, bakery, fish and chip shop and a local pub that brews it's own beer. All of the local people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is a great base for exploring the lakes, especially the south-western area. The owners keep a good selection of pamphlets for attractions, which make planning days out easy.

,Very clean, bright and homely. Owners were keen to show us everything and especially how to use the heating to be sure we were not cold. We were lucky with the weather too! Definitely one of the best cottages we have rented.

,The cottage was lovely - fresh flowers, cake and pint of milk were a great welcome - along with a tour by the owners
